I’m Tiffany Dean , the owner, director and lead teacher at Dean Family Child Care Home. I have been in the early childhood profession for 11 years. I am a wife and mother of two with a passion for working with young children.

I graduated from Christopher Dock Mennonite High School in 2006. I received my Associates in Early Childhood Education from Montgomery County Community College in 2023. Each year, I complete numerous courses from Penn State’s Better Kid Care to satisfy licensing requirements. I have earned a Keystone STAR level 2 and am First Aide and CPR certified.

 

It is my mission to provide the very best of care for your child. I realize parents have placed their children in my care to fill their needs developmentally, emotionally, intellectually and socially. It is my goal to provide loving, structured care of fun and learning while in a home atmosphere. I will strive to create a great experience for both parents and child while in my care.

 

One of the key aspects of my program is the focus on the whole child. Where most programs like to focus on the academics, I see the importance of social-emotional and cognitive development. Children who are given a safe and secure environment in their early years, where learning is scaffolded through play rather than directly taught, are shown to have a greater success in their later academic years and adult futures.
