Meet Miss Tiffany
Hello, and welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Tiffany, the owner and teacher at Dean Family Child Care Home & Preschool. For more than 14 years, I've had the privilege of working with young children and partnering with families during one of the most important stages of their child's development.
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. That's why I created a preschool where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, build meaningful relationships, and discover the world through play and hands-on experiences.
As a small family preschool, I have the opportunity to truly know each child—their personality, interests, strengths, and unique way of learning. Those relationships allow me to create meaningful experiences that build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Teaching isn't simply my profession—it's my passion. Every day I have the opportunity to help children discover something new, celebrate their accomplishments, and support them as they grow into confident, capable learners.
Get to Know Me
I know choosing someone to care for your child is one of the biggest decisions you'll make as a parent. That's why I want you to get to know not only my education and experience, but also the person behind the preschool.
I'm a wife, a mom of two amazing children, and someone who truly believes childhood should be filled with wonder, curiosity, and joy.
When I'm not teaching, you'll often find me spending time with my family, out for a run, reading a good book, or enjoying the outdoors. Nature has always been one of my favorite classrooms because it encourages children to slow down, ask questions, solve problems, and discover the world around them.
One of my greatest joys is watching children experience those "I did it!" moments. Whether they're making a new friend, spotting a butterfly during a nature walk, proudly writing their name, or solving a problem on their own, those moments remind me why I love what I do.
Families often tell me they appreciate my patience, calm demeanor, and genuine love for children. Creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, respected, and excited to come each day is something I strive for in everything I do.
I feel incredibly grateful to have a career that allows me to make a difference in children's lives while building lasting relationships with the families I serve.

• Children's books are one of my favorite teaching tools because every story sparks imagination, conversation, and learning.
• I love watching children's creativity come to life through open-ended art, sensory experiences, and nature exploration.
• Some of my favorite moments are the simplest ones—finding a caterpillar, hearing a child's thoughtful question, or celebrating a new accomplishment.
• My goal is for every child to leave my program feeling confident, capable, and deeply loved.

I believe great teachers are lifelong learners. I continually invest in my education and professional development so I can provide children with the highest quality early childhood experience.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Pennsylvania PreK–4 Certified Teacher
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
• More than 14 years of experience working with young children
• Keystone STARS 4 Program
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• Annual professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe children learn best through curiosity, relationships, and meaningful experiences.
My teaching is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where children are viewed as capable, creative, and competent learners. Rather than simply giving children answers, I encourage them to investigate, experiment, solve problems, and express their ideas in meaningful ways.
You won't find rows of desks or worksheets here. Instead, you'll find children building, creating, asking questions, exploring nature, making discoveries, and learning through play.
One of my favorite parts of the day is taking learning outdoors. Our outdoor classroom provides endless opportunities for children to investigate the natural world, take healthy risks, strengthen their bodies, and develop a deep appreciation for nature.
I also believe social-emotional development is the foundation for all learning. Helping children recognize their emotions, solve conflicts, build friendships, and develop confidence is woven into every part of our day.
My role is to carefully observe children's interests and create engaging invitations to investigate that inspire curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning.
